Any idea what initially failed on this ford 7.5" rearend.Image

Spiders from accelerating hard around a corner would be my guess.

My guess would be the bolt/pin that holds the cross pin in place backed out.

I don't doubt the truck has seen some hard cornering. I've heard of the pin backing out issue. Any idea way the pin would back out.

It's possible that's it's been apart before and they didn't put lock tite on it. Or just bad luck. Possibly built on a Monday?
