Quick 1-1 1/4" trim on the back of the rock rails should help ya, then pound the cap back on...

Building a capable off roader is easy, building a street legal one that you can wheel and then drive daily is the challenge...

So after a lift.. fenders, tires and such.. I started lookin for bumpers. Honestly after looking at many mfg's it only seemed fitting to go with Poison Spider. Not only am I a dealer for them, but the fenders were made that good. How could I not?...

edit: the front bumper is the Rock Brawler Lite. and the rear is the Rock Brawler II. Both items fit VERY well. putting the skid plate on was a PITA, bloody knuckles after that one but a decent item. The added hitch in the rear that is centered higher and just below the spare is a nice touch. I plan to put a skid hitch in to protect the spare on rocks.

So now.. no more rubbing, and I have increased my approach and departure angle. Not to mention, gained a Warn Winch and some Rigid Industries LED lights.

And to put the cherry on top.. Or at least for now. today I finished up mounting up new shoes on her.

I was able to remove the 5' backspacing wheels and 1.5" wheel spacers. So, they are for sale! Will post them up later. I also have the stock wheels and tires for sale as well.

Finally, this build thread is up to date. There are little things here and there I have done inside and more LED lighting. But for now.. My wallet is empty! lol.

Before:

After: These are some Method 17X9 5X5 with a 3.5" backspacing.. No more wheel spacers and to boot.. I get beadlocks now..

First thing on my list when possible.. Air system. Still unsure as to which one to get. Leaning towards a Viair system. But still contemplating the best way for my setup. (not much room in the back).

Also, bumper powder coating was done in pasco at custom coating. They did a great job!. Would highly recommend.

Now... possibly taking the fenders in I liked it so much.

did I mention how much of a PITA it was to put the fenders on? lol

New Rock Krawler tie rod upgrade. This thing is bigger than I thought it would be.

Info on the Tie Rod. http://www.rockkrawler.com/Articles.asp?ID=264

We wanted a tie rod that would flex, not bend when we bashed it off rocks. So we built it out of 1 5/8" 7075-T651 Aluminum. We wanted a tie rod you could adjust without taking it out of your jeep so we designed it with a turn-buckle style adjuster to make your toe adjustments a breeze. And our massive 2 Ton offset greasable steering joints are the toughest we've seen and built for abuse. * Works with 17" Minimum Wheel Diameter.
* For use with 4.5" of backspacing or less.

Retail $525.00

I sell these for $450 for anyone that likes it and wants one.

Little woman decided to test the strength of the doors... Tipping it over on each side.. (Oregon dunes). Lets just say it was a bad day. lol

Replaced the doors with new ones and installed some new seats with good bolstering on the sides and Beard harnesses.

This is her 09 Rzr S. W/ K&T Turbo Kit installed. What a fun machine.

Nav, Bluetooth, Ipod, Camera front and rear, tons of other options. Very happy with the performance of it.

It also can manage the ECM errors and shows all the guages for vehicle monitoring. Tire Pressure and other things as well. Pretty interesting unit

Took a few hours to install it.
