Game Trailer

Postby Lud » Thu Dec 04, 2014 3:20 pm

I've went into business with a group of people. We've created Northwest Mobile Gaming. It's got 3 55" Led Tvs and every game system you can think of. I've added an Ac unit with heat strip and an onboard generator to run it all.

Cool! When will it be done?
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

So it's starting to get good with agreements with the Tri City Americans and the Dust Devils. I also rent a photo booth and an outside dance floor. Basically the last thing this trailer needs is paint. I've got a guy lined up to do the trailer with all the stuff he needs to do it. The problem is that none of us has any shop space with a door big enough. I estimate I need a place with a 12 foot door and we would need to have in a warm dry place for a week. Anyone have any ideas?

It's done except the paint. I put in an RV style door for easier access and have a step to bolt in. That's it.

I dont have nor have access to a painting shop that will fit your needs.

I dont know what "codes" this trailer would need to meet to do what you are doing. It's kind of a gray area. If you dont have anything else to go by, you may want to check NFPA 1192 http://www.nfpa.org/codes-and-standards/document-information-pages?mode=code&code=1192 and use it as a guide. If there was ever an accident, it'll keep your butt out of hot water. I have a hard copy if you cant find a copy. I would need it returned, though.

Smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher should be required.

My work just took a major dive in phone call quantity (oh, what a relief!), so I should have a little time to check it out if you need.

Had the fire marshal come by during an event with the city of Richland and he loved the trailer. Lol. Seriously though we've got the extinguisher, and both detectors. Were using 12 gauge wiring on two seperate 20 amp circuits with breakers. The generator can run the whole trailer on its own, we can run off shore power, or any combination.

Inside we've got proper spacing between the seating and walls for egress.

It's fully insured under an umbrella policy as well in case we do miss something.

I'm doing smaller events and seeing what works and what doesn't. When its completely done I want to have complete confidence that everything is done right.

Thanks for the info Wrench, I will definitely check through that info to see if there's anything we missed.

Awesome!

If the exhaust sound or emissions become a problem, they can be reduced by using one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Camco-44461-Gen-Turi-Generator-Exhaust/dp/B000BUU5XG

They redirect the exhaust to vent above the roof line, and reduce the noise a tad.

You put stabilizer jacks on the corners?

Get a marijuana sales license and put a mj/munchies trailer next to it and you'll make a fortune!! :foufou

Thanks for that link. I've been thinking about rerouting the exhaust.

Image. Further progress on the game trailer. It's no longer red and I upgraded the 4000w generator to a 9000 watt generator that runs on either gas or propane. Working on decals. More to come.[/img]

As you can see we're getting serious now.

If you ever need a vinyl wrap, Andrew with Vizual Assualt in West Richland is pretty good. He does a lot of trailers, trucks, and race cars.

Andrew is doing a wrap for Shannon at American Mining Rights Association too. Doing their FJ Cruiser and trailer. He'll be in town this week.
