2010 Mountain Edition JKU
2010 Mountain Edition JKU
So we retired BONECRUSHER and I came home with a bright orange 2010 Mountain Edition JKU. I have now taken possession of Iulia's 2010 Rubicon. In this thread I will showcase how to spend extravagant amounts of money and have fun doing it. Stay tuned!
It comes with 37" Falcon AT's, a 6" Rubicon Express lift, Poison Spyder custom tire carrier and some really fancy embroiderd seat backs.

First on Iulia's wish list... hood mounts for her Hi-Lift jack, new headlights (imitation JW Speaker lights from China - photo attached...), Rubber floor mats front and rear, a new rear bumper (ORFab w/ intergrated back up lights) and some rear corner protection... stay tuned for more action and excitement!

Would look good with some Method Beadlock Wheels.
Or some Hutchinson DOT approved beadlocks.

WAIT!
So lemme get this strait, you're really gonna run those 1000 lbs diy beads that trashed Bonecrusher's front end again? REALLY?
My .02 step up to the Aluminums, and the get what you pay for confidence of a beadlock along with a manageable amount of weight... Or pre-purchase/stage another front axle for the inevitable..

Building a capable off roader is easy, building a street legal one that you can wheel and then drive daily is the challenge...

It's for a JK. I took it off my 2007 Rubicon to put a stubby bumper on. It's a very high quality bumper. http://www.aev-conversions.com/shop/jk- ... ont-bumper
I'm not going to orchistrate that triple threat trade. If someone wants to talk to Bryan and see if he's interested in the bumper and what he'd pay for it then I might play ball, but for now I'm just looking for cold hard cash. Need to replace those suckers as soon as they come off and I dont have all the funds for new tires without selling those...
Iulia has some presents coming... ORFab rear bumper with intergrated LED back up lights should be on my doorstep when I get home tonight. Her Jeep does not have any back up lights or rear bumper because of the custom tire carrier. Also ordered EVO aluminum rear corners to cover up all the holes they made in the body installing the rear mounting plate for said tire carrier. the tire carrier is coming off this weekend and i'm swapping it for the ORFab one currently on the Rubicon. The Rubicon is getting the Poison Spyder carrier coming off her Jeep and is also getting EVO rear corners but the corners it's getting are bare steel. They are their "builder" kit and Bryansfab is going to fab up some fenders on them before I have them powder coated and installed. Should be a busy week. Also the Bushwacker flares currently on the Rubicon are going on Bryansfab's new Rubicon... I'll try and post some pictures when I can as the build progresses...
