New spin on a mouse house
The "old guys" in the Dessert Rat have built a few of them and using them more for fishing excursions than wheeling.
Bill Lucke, John Hall, and maybe Stucky, seems like one or two others but can't think of them now. If you know one of them, might ask what they like or don't, maybe save some trial and err.

Here's mine. It isn't done but the idea is that it is completely modular. It is built around the big black/yellow lid containers that you can get at Costco. It is longer than most but same axle width as a stock Jeep. Notice that it has lots of tongue length. As it turns out, that is more important than breakover angle since you end up backing up quite a bit. If you have ever backed a HF trailer, you know what I mean.
There is NO need for 35" tires on a 500lb trailer. The 225s work perfectly and are lighter, cheaper, and last longer. No issues with tracking in the snow, etc.
