Gm based turn signal gremlins...

Postby Roman » Sun May 22, 2016 4:42 pm

So, for anybody that remembers seeing or commenting on my front turn signals lighting with my brake lights, they're fixed!

Turns out you are supposed to have BOTH a turn signal flasher AND a hazard flasher! Huh, who knew.

After doing MUCH Googling (and it's not an easy topic to find info on) I finally found a post that suggested SWAPPING flashers. Only problem, I didn't HAVE a hazard flasher! That's when I remembered a flasher falling on my foot a few years ago on the way back to camp. "Heck, who needs THAT right now..." I was more worried about a beer and some steak. :thu2:

Off to other problems, like the drivetrain clunk I heard Sunday morning of Camp Shamp. You know, the one that WASN'T there on the way down... :?

Turned out the mystery clunk was the muffler. When I put the new exhaust in last year I chose to use clamps instead of welding it. Every exhaust system I've pulled apart with clamps was stuck together just as good as welded.
Well, not for me...

Oh well, it was fixed for Memorial Day :thu2:
