New Corbeau Baja SS seats installed. new sport cage installed. painted the inside of the tub with Rustoleum Truck bed liner. Just purchased a "full" center console from Gundies for $125.00 shipped which is more than 1/2 of what they are going for online. should be here Thursday. Hopefully have enuf time to install it before this weekend. Having the 1/2 console really sucks. It only has 1 cup holder and no storage at all. I'll try and post up some pics later tonight. Next on the list is all new control arms.

I thought real jeeps didn't have consoles. Btw, can you bring the notepad that Dolly left at your house after the last meeting with you this weekend?

Perhaps a jeep console would be real jeep worthy if it contained the following items:

o Pack of cheap smokes
o small roles of toilet paper or a few brown towels from the gas station
o worn leather gloves
o dirty sunglasses
o Partial flask of Old Crow or Grandad
o stale beef jerky
o a few 10 and 20 amp fuses
o worn out trail map that's held together with electrical tape
o electrical tape
o broken pencil
o a little ash originating from the Mt Saint Helens eruption... it's a Cascade thing

Gee, I kind of highjacked your thread. :D

that's so funny because that's exactly what I was planning on putting in my "new" console.... mostly wanting it for the second cup holder

Why the downsize change? Just curious...

Any plans for those, ummm, fenders?
Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

I was finding myself a little hesitant to really "wheel" it. it was $33k when we bought it and I had about $7-8k into it. that's an expensive "toy". we owned it outright and just wanted something a little less expensive that I could actually wheel and not worry about if I rubbed a tree a little too hard or something. plus we were able to put some money into the bank for some projects we have been working on around the house. with regards to the ummm, fenders... I want to cut them down, ALOT... I am no fabricator so when the time comes I will be asking for some help/advise. also the rockers are going away as well.

Sounds like solid logic, nice work!

I'm not a fabricator either, I'm just a pharmer, but I'd be willing to point and heckle when the time comes to cut those horrid things off

Horrid? You could set a 30 pack of Keystones on each fender!

IIRC the fenders and rockers are make out of sch40 pipe, might get 2" of lift when all the weight is pulled off.

Saying goodbye to the crazy huge fenders and rockers. Also about done with the dash fitment. Cage is in.
