Shop Recommendations

Postby markrieb » Thu Mar 09, 2017 8:52 am

In addition to my Jeep, I also have a '72 K/10 Chevy pickup.

I need to have the rocker panels below the door and the door sills replaced (bad window and door seals over the years have taken its toll). I can get patch panels easily enough, but I need recommendations on a shop that will do the work cheaply. I'm in no hurry, so it can be done at their pace. I just want the new sheet metal welded in, rough finished and primered. I'm still working on the rest of the body work, but the rust cancer needs to be stopped now.

Thanks,

Mark

You could call Jim at Street Rods Unlimited in Kennewick. I'm not sure if is something they would take on. No idea what it would cost but I know they do good work. Most regular body shops won't take something like that on.
You can follow me.... but it's gonna hurt ;)
