reverse offset center beadlock help

Postby colemancooler » Fri May 11, 2007 3:59 pm

According to schwab and phelps Tire in Yakima it is impossible to mount a tire on a reverse center offset wheel for use as a beadlock. I have 1 mounted as a steel reinforced wheel with the ring on for looks, but I need help if possible to get them mounted proper :(

it possible, its just alot of hard work.
im not sure if my tire mach would help or not,you might just have to do it by hand and work it.
id be glad to help but its about 2 1/2hr drive for you to get here, and i bet it would take the better part of a day.
i also think it is not going to benifit you much having the bead locks on that side, but they look cool fa sha

They're reversed offset rims, 2" back spacing, so the bead lock ring is mounted on the "outer" edge of the rim

yea it changes the drop center towerds the back of the wheel.
you have a less lickly chance of blowing the (now)outside bead because of the extra flat part of the wheel.

HUh. . .well, I know it "can" be done, but make sure somebody is there with a video camera on "time lapse" AND you call the hospital before hand to let them know you are most likely coming with some sort of trauma injury.

Werd. Reversed centers are fine if you NEVER want to make them into beadlocks.
