The wind damage from spring storms was pretty incredible... There were so many uprooted and broken trees it was just mind boggling:
We pushed all the way through the 60-ish mile route in about 4 hours, taking our time and stopping often to let dogs do what dogs do:
On this particular day, what ended up being the best viewpoint for the trip was near the Southern-end of the route, looking back to the North-West. It's difficult to see in the crummy photo, but hidden in the grey abyss of horizon you could see Mt. Adams and Mt. Rainier:
Overall a great trip and although the weather wasn't amazing for views, it was exactly what we needed for dust mitigation and I'll take that trade any day
