2018 Pick up a Mountain 9/14-16

Postby TJDave » Mon Sep 17, 2018 3:04 am

This years 10th anniversary PUAM was a great time. The weather was awesome, in the 70's, and the recent rains kept the dust down.
I didn't take too many pictures. If you have some, deposit them here please.
We left town a little after 9am, as planned, to arrive at Jim Sprick Park by the opening time of noon Friday.
Curtis and Mark (D-Rats) were already there, and had the back area by the river already secured. 8) Not as many participants this year. The main camping area had plenty of large open areas. But, it seems everyone wanted to squeeze themselves behind us out back. :?: Our camp was the usual mix of Peakputters and Desert Rats. Co-mingling and wheeling in perfect harmony regardless of each other's club affiliation.

Riverside accommodations.

Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

With Tim as my witness, I was going slow enough to pick up garbage on the way up.
