I've never run Bethel Ridge, but I can say for certain that I will run it again and again. What a sweet not-so-hidden gem!
With markedly cooler temps in the forecast, Mr./Mrs. OG and myself hatched a plan to meet up for a night of camping before going our separate ways on Saturday morning. Admittedly, neither of us were prepared for the absolutely frigid temps we encountered as the sun went down at 6,000ft elevation Friday night, but suffice it to say we survived and overall had a splendid evening in camp. On the the flip side, I headed out to explore Bethel Ridge and Mr./Mrs. OG headed North on the 1500 road to points beyond...
As an aside, the forum apparently has an attachment limit, and I have hit that limit so I can no longer add pictures to my run reports
That being said, nobody really wants to spend time reading my babble anyway so perhaps some quicker form of sharing is the right answer... Let's try this:
