Cost depends on what parts you can scrounge used or cheap. The steel and parts that you'll have to buy run about $500 to do it right. That is just the stuff that you'll need like shocks, shock hoops, shackle tubes etc. You'll still have to get steering and an axle. It's always a good idea to rebuild the axle or at least take it apart and repack the bearings before putting it in.

well that is a lot cheaper than buying a kit, so that sounds good.... So when are you doin your next SAS

Like I said, I'll be doing it in about a month or so. Depends on when my schedule and my buddies line up, and he is getting married so that is in the way... I told him they need to postpone it so I can fix his truck but she wasn't all that enthused about my idea. :lol:
