Noob from Idaho
I just moved here (Pasco) from SE Idaho. I've been looking for some fun trails and one of my co-workers recommended coming to this forum.
The DD is a Tacoma.
And the toy is an '89 YJ.
Any recommendations for some fun places to play around?

Get a flag and head to juniper sand dunes.
Go out the Pasco-Kahlotus Highway and turn left at the giant yellow mail box. Drive forever and you will find the dunes. Google map Pasco kahlotus road and peterson rd and you will find it

Thanks. I looked through some of the pictures in the juniper dunes section; looks pretty fun.

Notice the order they are in. The Toyota is what gets him to work in order to afford the parts to keep the yjunk going.
I'm not going to lie, the Jeep is junk. But it's the funnest piece of junk I've ever driven.
The most fun you'll ever have wheeling is in something you have absolutely zero care about in the world. I had a 94 rodeo that I beat unmercifully, I loved that thing. I need to get another one.

Does anyone know where I can buy one of those flags? I'm planning on going out there Saturday.

I've gotten my flags at JMC motorsports at the base of the cable bridge in Pasco. They are open Saturday and are on my way to the dunes. Basic flag with mounting stuff is like $9 or a bare flag for a quick mount was $5

Flags can also be bought at either Ranch & Home.... I found that out my last trip out to Juniper when I forgot my flag... Welcome!

Building a capable off roader is easy, building a street legal one that you can wheel and then drive daily is the challenge...

I went out to Juniper dunes today. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for the recommendation guys.
I had a friend come with me and told me that he already had a flag that I could use. Next time I'll go get my own. A flag that is the same color as the sky probably didn't help too much. Oh well.
We probably should have aired down, but didn't this time. As long as I kept my momentum up and didn't try going up anything too crazy I was OK.
Sorry, no action shots.
