Another Yakima guy

Postby Jay W » Sun Nov 18, 2012 6:23 pm

Live and work in Yakima. I've been wheelin' my '46 Willys for about 15 years. It's been through many revisions over the years but now sits with a TBI 289, T18, D18, Wagoneer 44s with 5.38s, welded rear, Lockright front, Wrangler SOA, 39.5s.

Also, my son and I have been building this '89 Ranger for the past 10 months. stock, 2.9 V6, 5 speed, double bw 1350s, narrowed HP44 front with 5.13 and Spartan, Custom 9"/14 bolt rear with Detroit, leaf spring front.

Welcome to our playground.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Welcome and nice bumping into you guys up on Darland!

Building a capable off roader is easy, building a street legal one that you can wheel and then drive daily is the challenge...
