Howdy

Postby oltmann » Mon Nov 26, 2007 8:10 pm

Well, I found you guys online.

I heard Cim mention a forum to Jose standing around the campfire this weekend. Well sure enough, here it is. 8)

Some of the best times wheelin' I have ever had have been with you folks. I had a great time on the FYBR, and look forward to heading back over your way for the next run.

Next time I won't bring the silly-big tires unless there is no chance we'll hit trails, I swear. :D

Haha, not TSLs, 44 boggers.

Whats up Kev, glad you guys could make it. Yep you need to check here for runs on this side cuz peakputers go like monthly. Good to see ya again, I do kinda miss TSF though. Later.

Oh yeah, specs.

'94 YJ, 4.0, np435, atlas4.3, 5.13 gears, HP60, 14bolt, coil radius arm front, soa leaf rear, 102" wheelbase. hydro assist steering, OBA, OBW, H1 rims, either 38.5 SXs or 44 boggers.

I think that's about it. Going to push the rear back 5" or so this winter with a 4 link and coilovers.

Hey Kev, it was good to see you as well, everyone was so busy wheelin' saturday we didn't get a chance to chat. Next time!

Commando, is your name Chris? I think we met before, but again, didn't even get to chat this trip. Yeah, that was my blue YJ with the yellow ringed hummers.

Yea it was kinda crazy with all the rigs up there! My name's David, don't think I've met you before but I did recognize your rig and the yellow one from TC, might have seen you on a trail somewhere before too. I lurk over on TC just don't post much.

I got one pic of you on FYB

Great pic! thanks for posting it up. Nice to meet you David, it's only a matter of time until we meet in person.

I bet I was thinking of ColemanCooler, is his name Chris? (if not, then I'm loosing my fragile grip on reality)

Yep. . cooler is Kris. . .

For those of you that don't know Kevin, not only is he a stand-up guy and a heck of a wheeler, but he was also the chief navigator when Marc, Danny, and I did the Team Trophy Challenge. If it wasn't for Kevin, we'd still be lost at TSF trying to find check 1.

Glad you found the site.

Oltmann....great to see ya again man :D ....it's been a while since the Team Trophy Challenge. I'm glad we at least got to see each other on your way out of camp while the rest of us were stuck on that @#$&* hill trying to get into camp. :banghead

I could only do the Saturday run. I tried to find ya before we left. :ouin but everyone was itchin to get home... :x Next time...

I've got my own rig now...didn't have it at the TSF. It's a white '93 YJ, 4"spring lift, 33" swampers, locked front and rear...does me just fine, even though is's only a 4 banger.

When are you going to set up a run down your way again? You call it and I'll be there. :thu2:
