bep beep im a jeep

hello my name is bryan and some of you know me "jose" not really new to the area or the wheeling thing but have been looking for a club to join for a long time.. that is what brought me to you guys and gals..

I drive a 11 ram2500 cummins but the toy is my pavement pounding nice wether 72 cj5 I built from the ground up.. well its time to for the car shows to be over and test my welding skills and see if it holds together in the real areas in witch I built it for.. look for ward to meeting the rest of you and going on some runs.. my avatar is a pic of my 5 .. thanks :idea:

I'd love to see that 5 on the trail. Any bigger pic? Specs?

well ill get some more pics up tomarro.. but its a 72 with a 5.7 efi , turbo400, dana 20 tcase, 44 rear 30 locked front, 35 1250r15 , spring over, on board welder, 8k winch. boxed frame, custom front bumper and rear swing out tire carrier gas can tool can holder.. and that's all I can think of right now..lol :roll:

Welcome! On board welder eh? I can think of a sitiation or few that might could use one them...

Welcome!! I carry welding rod and jumper cables. I'm too cheap for an on board welder lol

well lance mine was 50 bucks made from a gm 140 amp alt that I gutted and built a diode bridge out of 200 amp diodes.. if any one is interested I can help the out in building one..

Im interested in it what parts do I need to get. I have a 90 chevy tbi in my rig

Main parts are a gm 140 amp alternater mines out of a newer suburban. then 6 diodes out of a 50dt bus alternator.. 3pos and 3neg..you can talk to our rebuilder at try city batter in pasco for them.other than that depending on how you install it just some wires and a switch.
