Hello!!

Postby Red Dawn » Mon Sep 08, 2014 5:46 pm

Hello my name is Brett and I have an addiction.
It's my freakin Jeep.

I bought a Wrangler Unlimited last year and have been gradually adding mods, not enough yet though.

I'm new to off-roading but I'm loving it.

I heard about you guys from a nurse I work with at Lourdes.

Last week I drove around Bethel Ridge and dropped down into Bear Lake for a short day trip, great views up there.

On Sept. 27th I'm heading up to check out the Moon Rocks and Funny Rocks area. Any recommendations on which trails to take or not take to get up there?

I need to make some friends who like the same thing I'm addicted to now.

My rig is a 2013 JK Unlimited Sahara.

BTW I also have a Sahara. I am looking at unloading my front D30 axle. it has Arctic Industries Axle Truss, C-Gussets, Axle Tube Sleaves, RCV axle shafts, Aussie Locker and 4:10 Gears. It should be a direct bolt in replacement for your D30. I haven't really thought of what I need to get out of it, but I am into it just over $2k. Could possibly let it go for $1200.00. Just a thought. Check out my build thread here... http://www.peakputters.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4380

The easiest way to get to Funny/Moon is to put "Manastash Lake" in Google Maps. Very easy drive that way. Once you are there, Just make sure you have the NF trail map and have at it. Lots of trails in that area. Make sure not to go alone. . .

Do you need to unload this in a hurry?
