Good Morning to All! I want to give a shout out (and give big Jeep Wave!) to local Jeep enthusiasts here in Tri-Cities! :thu2:

Let me start out by introducing myself, name is Mike, and have been a longtime Jeep owner and enthusiast. In the garage you would find a 2000 Wrangler Sahara. Past Jeeps have included 3 XJ's and 1 ZJ.

For the past 6 months I have been in Washington / Oregon area, and absolutely love it out here! Last week was the Tillamook Jeep Jamboree, and the event was a BLAST! :super

There is also another Jeep enthusiast I would like to introduce, Jessica. She is also a long time owner, and in her garage is a 2008 Wrangler Rubicon. (This is her third Rubi!) She has grown up and lived in Richland area her entire life.

Some of my intensions for joining this group are to:
1. Meet new friends and enthusiasts
2. Go on trail rides and local events
3. Become involved in the club and club activities, including trail cleanups, maintenance, etc.

If possible, any one of admins lead me in direction to be more involved?

Thanks everyone, look forward to meeting some of club members and fellow Jeepers! :thu:

Mike

Welcome. If you want to get involved and become a member the info is in the By-Laws section; but long story short come to 3 meetings and three called runs in your own rig, then we vote on you, and then you buy us beer. Bonus, the next meeting is a run or the next run is a meeting... whatever, if you meet with us at Liberty for the 4th (meeting Friday night) you could knock out two in one. http://www.peakputters.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5704

Hope to see you there. Post up if you need more info.

Welcome once again. So jess is, on her third rubi? What happened to the first 2? I can see the progression from xj to zj to the best, True Jeep.

Has jess decided upon a screen name of her own? We welcome her as well.

Thank you everyone so far!

HA! Yes, only took me 10 years to finally graduate to a TJ! :thu2: Kind of funny story, 10 years ago my neighbor was a car salesman, and I was on my 3rd XJ, and he knew I wanted a Sahara. So one weekend he brought one home from the dealer, white, just like the one I have. Drove it with top off for 2 days, but had poor cash flow, so it was WAY out of range. Last year I finally broke down and got one. She is from Oklahoma City, pampered behind a camper its entire life, and never seen a lick of salt. But she is gonna be a wheeler now!

Jess, I need to do a little coaxing to make profile, but she loves to drive and go wheelin! She drove most of the time in Tillamook, I drove hers through the rock gardens, she did the rest! And yes, she is on her 3rd Rubi, 2 TJ's and now her JK. First Rubi gave it up in divorce; second Rubi crashed that s#$t, and now driving the JK.

Looking forward meeting everyone and blazing some trails soon! :super [/img]

No, was at the first annual Tillamook Jeep Jamboree. It was a 3 day event, starting with tour of Bushwacker in Portland. Then Friday and Saturday exploring the trails of Tillamook. There were over 110 participants during the 2 days. People from all around US attended.

Good morning everyone. Little late to the party, only took me 5 years! Just wanted to apologize, life happened in past 5 years, but I would like to pick up where I started and left off by joining in runs and club activities. Our stable has changed a bit, I still have Sarah, my TJ; and Jessica no longer has a Jeep. Sarah has gone under the knife of a 3 year project, and is finally done and trail worthy. I am pretty active on wranglertjforum, and have detailed my project -https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/2000-sahara-ls-lr4-conversion-with-nv3550-and-241or.34980/ . Let me know how to join meetings and participate in upcoming runs. Thanks again! Mike
