Hey all! Just bought a '74 Ramcharger and am hoping for a history lesson!

Hey everyone! Name's Rob and I recently purchased a '74 Dodge Ramcharger. In cleaning it up I can just make out the outline of the old Peak Putter decals on the aluminum plates on the front fenders. Still has a Pasco high school parking pass in the back
window, too. I realize it's a long shot, but I figured I'd post it up in the hopes of someone maybe knowing some history on it or maybe having an old pic or two. Kind of a sucker for the history of old iron. Attached is a pic of it in it's current (sad) state. Thanks all!

:thu: Welcome. I am not sure who that Power Wagon belonged to. It was before my time here.
Maybe someone else will recognize it.
Looks like a cool project.

Didn’t Dan Holmes race that thing back in the day?

Looking at the old photos in the Peakputter history section, I only see one Ramcharger. But it's blue. Not sure if it is the same one.

Thanks for all the responses, guys!!!

It definitely has the markings of having been raced at some point in it's life. The front axle is trussed, and it has a very nice roll cage in it as well!

Man, that blue one is an absolute beaut! Would love to pluck it out of that picture and drop it in my driveway! Looking at it's factory hd mirrors, light duty rear bumper and original blue I don't believe it's the same machine. Mine has definitely been forest green since day 1.

A little more back story on it- I actually live south of Portland and picked it up off the Oregon coast. Judging by the license plate number, I believe it's been in Oregon since the late 80's/ early 90's. Would be absolutely thrilled if some old pics from it's glory days surfaced!
