Finally signed up

Postby TurboShadow » Sun Jun 29, 2008 4:41 pm

Been surfing this forum for a while, finally signed up on saturday. Been in Prosser my whole life (just down the road from white trash), been jeeping since I was 10 or so with me dad, and we bought my Jeepster when I was 14. It went from a pile of junk, to a really nice jeep, and back to looking like a pile of junk. Its had years of hard trail miles. I use to run with the canyon crawlers alot, but kinda stopped doing the off road thing when I got out of high school. I try to get it out 2-3 times a year now. Ive been all over the little naches, rimrock, bickelton... Anyways Ill give you the specs.

1970 Jeepster halfcab
Buick 231
SM420
Stock dana 20
30 front 3:73's and a powerlock
44 rear 3:73's and Lock right
SOA with long shocks and lots of travel
BFG KM 35's

Ohh yea, and its lime green :D

It gets around very well IMO, its a little to high geared for the rocks, But before you tear me up for the gearing... I have a set of 4:56's that I bought 5 years ago that still havent been installed! lol. If my dad could find my missing pinion gear they might get installed some day.

Here is a pic, not my dog BTW

God I love Jeepsters. From looks alone, your Jeepster rocks.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans.
