So I haven't been driving the Scrambler all summer due to the "supposed" broken driver door linkage. Really, I read it on the internet! It happens ALL the time, it just didn't happen to me.
After a few minutes of realigning my DS door pin (after adjusting them to fit the YJ half doors . . . ) I was all set for a much needed Bug-out
With Daisey as my Co-Dawg we hit the gravel roads south of Kennewick to see if we could get far enuff south to see the Columbia River . . .
Along the way we said Hi to the Wind Mills
Seems the Farmers have all the best view points behind gates, this was as close as we could get.
And with that we turned the Jeep down Coffin Road for a few miles of hiway driving! In all we were out for around 2 1/2 hrs, and some quality time with my best Jeep dog

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner! I actually built that back when stingers were cool (for all 2 minutes ) And for a completely different Jeep. I've tried to give it away, it just wouldn't leave. So, when I got the Scrambler, and i decided the 2x4 (lumber!) bumper wasn't going to cut it, this got the nod for front end protection . . .

Yup you were right, the camera angle makes that stinger looko huge
Working on your rig is like a really great date: you start out expecting it to be something simple and straightforward; four hours later you're laying under her, panting and cursing, and things are a lot more complicated than you ever wanted.
