Discover Pass Update... Less money for us

Postby Dolly » Tue Mar 18, 2025 7:02 am

FYI....

I apologize for short notice. I got this tonight
Please read this very carefully and send a note to your state reps by Mar 19. If this passes we as the 4x4 community stand to lose. Currently we (DNR) get 8% up to $71M. Anything over $71M is split evenly 3 ways. If we don't say anything it's 8% to $100M then split evenly 3 ways. This will dramatically effect the funds to DNR. Not a good situation.
Send a note to you state Rep on your thoughts by March 19. They discuss this on the 20th

I'm guessing with the club connections most of you guys are already well aware of this, but this was the first time I'd heard of the upcoming 50% price hike for the Discover Pass starting next month:

Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...
