Proposed User Fees @ Little Naches

The USFS has a proposed user fee change for the Little Naches drainage area. There would be a 5.00 dollar fee per vehicle per night. This only applies to the mode of transportation you arrived in, and does not apply to dirt bikes,ATV'S, or trailered jeeps.

The proposed fee areas would be Ponderosa camp, Lost meadow, Longmire meadow, and Long meadow camp.

The proposed changes would include trash bins, picnic tables, and fire ring grates. They want comments on if the users of these areas would even want these amenities. If no one wants tables or fire ring grates, then they will not spend the money to put them in. This would leave more money to go up the trail.
