WOHVA Meeting

Postby Grumpy » Tue Sep 29, 2009 2:53 pm

It's only ONE week away! The Sunday October 4th 2009 fourth annual membership meeting for the Washington Off Highway Vehicle Alliance (WOHVA) will again be held at Clover Park Technical College and begins at 10:00 AM (4500 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, Wa, 98499). Directions and the agenda are available at www.WOHVA.org or HERE on our DOWNLOAD page in the Annual Meeting section.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

We're an organization that's still growing ... and our activity and impact continues to grow as well!

Here are a several of the meeting attractions:

* Legal Update - The main agenda item this year will be an update on our WOHVA/NMA lawsuit to take back our stolen NOVA funds. Hear our legal counsel via phone conference and ask him questions to make sure you're fully informed!!

* Membership - Get your two WOHVA stickers to display on your vehicle and our new trifold developed to help us tell our story to prospective members as well as interested legislators, land use managers and industry leaders. We'll also have t-shirts, sweatshirts and large WOHVA decals to purchase to promote your membership and ideals!

* Political Action - Learn about this past year's legislative activity, the good, the bad, and the ugly bills from our Political Action Chair, Tod Petersen.

* Land Use - Find out what's been happening with Land Use and our relationships with riding areas and planning processes from our Land Use Chair, Gary Prewitt

* Board Election - Yes, good things DO come to an end, and we have 3 of our original Charter Board members this year who will be stepping down. While our nominating committee has a slate of nominees to refill these positions, we'll also be asking for nominations from the floor ... this is your opportunity to take on some leadership, achieve greater control, and make a positive mark for your recreational pursuits.

WOHVA IS A MEMBERSHIP-DRIVEN ORGANIZATION.
