Mission: Funding 2010-2011
With the lack of NOVA Funding for 2010-2011 (see next paragraph for details), the Off-Road Vehicle
crew is looking at other funding opportunities. We have submitted a grant request to the Yamaha
OHV Access Initiative and are awaiting the results. We are certain the Yamaha Grant process is
very competitive, but we appreciate the opportunity, through industry, to apply! Everyone should take
a moment to THANK YAMAHA for their trail support! We are also applying for tax money collected by
the City of Cle Elum from Hotels and Motels. We will keep you posted! If we get these grants, our
crew should be in near full time operation in 2010. Regardless, we will need YOU, our great
volunteers, to get our spring logout and trail maintenance done in the spring of 2010. Please
consider attending our Volunteer Appreciation Day this April (2010, date to be arranged). A BIG
THANK-YOU to the EASTERN WASHINGTON TRAIL RIDERS ASSOCIATION for their continued
V-Team Support! Their cash donation to the V-Team will be used to buy V-Team equipment and
uniforms next season.
