The Umatilla National Forest Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) is now outand available at the Main Office in Pendleton, and the Ranger District offices in Pomeroy, WA, Walla Walla, WA, Heppner, OR, and Ukiah, OR. Also available to print off your own on line at www.fs.fed.us/r6/uma. There are 21 maps in the set, printed on 11 sheets of newsprint. They will be updated yearly. Current issue set is dated March 31,2010. This set of maps are free at the above offices.

These are the official enforcement maps for the forest. They only show open routes, and the types of vehicles allowed. They also have the TRS grid and show campgrounds and some moutains and buttes. Suggested they be used in conjunction with other forest or topo maps. Routes may or may not be numbered (ongoing work in progress at this time), and routes will NOT be posted either open or closed.
