DNR - Recreation & Reform - 2011 Proposed Legislation

Postby Grumpy » Wed Jan 12, 2011 8:24 pm

The Department of Natural Resources has several pieces of legislation that they would like considered during the 105 day - 2011 Legislative session; bill number (s) is not available at this time.

For your information - you may download a fact sheet (4 pages) that addresses the recreation reform goals; establishing an "Explore Washington Pass" -a pass enabling users to access state lands, managed by DNR and Fish & Wildlife; along with amending DNR's recreational immunity statute.

For a more complete review on sustainable funding; access, and enforcement go to: http://www.dnr.wa.gov/Publications/e...orm_fs2011.pdf

Arlene Brooks, WA State Director ###

(This is the information that was made available at the State Meeting on the 8th by our guest speaker, Mark Mauren, DNR Assistant Division Manager.) AB ###
