Oregon Dunes in Danger!!!

Postby Grumpy » Tue Jun 28, 2011 8:24 am

Please spend several minutes to sign this petition to save approximately 100 miles of trail riding in the Oregon Dunes between Florence to North Bend.....the Forest Service has ignored the 10-C public committee's suggestions and proceeded with their own agena of 100% trail closures.....included is a link to the Forest Service's five page scoping letter and the North, Middle and South dunes maps......

After signing our petition, please review the scoping letter......and when you view these 3 maps, realize that any trail colored yellow is already there and is earmarked as closed, unless we slam the door on the FS's agenda with our petition and public outcrys.......We are striving for 5,000 signatures by July 7th, so we need your help........................... Thanx, SaveTheRidersDunes / STRD

Please feel free to write your own letter after reading the scoping letter also. It would only take a few minutes of your time and your help is needed to keep as much of the Oregon Dunes open for OHVs. The anti-acess groups are closing one mile at at time and without your support they will succeed in closing it all to you and your family.Thank you for your support.

Sign this petition and forward to any Off Roader you know http://www.thepetitionsite.com/3/sto...es-atv-riding/

This is the Forest Service's site for the short scoping letter and map viewing http://www.fs.fed.us/nepa/fs-usda-po...?project=34220
