Juniper Meeting

The Western Federal Lands Division of the Federal Highway Administration, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management and Franklin County, is planning to construct a public access to the Juniper Dunes Wilderness and off-highway vehicle areas.

Public Open House
You are invited to attend a public Open House on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 to get a status update on the project, and to provide your feedback to the project team. The meeting will be held at the TRAC Center, 6600 Burden Blvd, Pasco from 6-8PM.

Draft Environmental Assessment
The project is currently in the planning stage and recently published a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) document. There is a 30-day public comment period on the EA ending on March 13, 2015.

Rep. Newhouse's staff knew nothing of this meeting till I called earlier to see if they would be there. They're going to try to make it.
