Peak Putters - José's FYBR 2012

Postby iaccocca » Mon Nov 26, 2012 2:42 pm

José's FYBR

We were so glad that José could make it on FYBR this year for a change. He is always great to have on hand in camp and on the trail.
José started by helping us split wood for the fires. Tim has that pic...

After the wood splitting we settled into a nice mellow night out of the rain... uh oh, I think the cork is out of that bottle!

The next morning when it was time to winch all those deadfalls out of the road, José took over duties on the remote. (He is really impressed with Tim's winch, even if it is not an 8274.) :-)

Celebrating on the summit, sorry I didn't have good beer José.

Even at the summit José felt I was running a wee bit too much air, so he jumped in and took care of it.

Of course that night back at camp, José was the life of the party.

Someone finally had to help our good friend to bed.

Sunday morning = Man Quiche...

And of course, the post Man Quiche walk of shame...

Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Sunday morning Jose did me the favor of entertaining the girls so I could get my camper ready to go. (To be honest, I think Jose was inspecting the cabin so he and Sveta could buy yet another house.) Take a look...

[N.B. Jeeper kids would have killed me if their Jose collection was not shared.]

Not with me. And I didn't notice it when I toured the cabin, but maybe I didn't look up.

My kids say, "Some boy took it. The one that is older, he is still a kid, but he isn't an adult."

I swear to God that is a quote. Seems any [male] 'Putter might have your lantern.
