Peak Putters Ahtanum Snow Run - April 25th, 2009

Postby commando14 » Sun Apr 26, 2009 8:17 pm

Saturday morning a few of us met up at the sno park for some more snow wheeling. We had 4 rigs.... in attendance was Rich and Laura, Curtis, my dad and Jurate, and myself. About 9:45 am we headed up and mid fork for Darland Mt. The snow was in great shape for wheeling, we had fun playing on the drifts all the way to the top. We came back down the North Fork and then made our way to Blue Lake. This run was a blast, the snow made for some great wheeling and we covered a lot of ground.

Here's a couple videos playing at the mini super bowl. We were all a little underpowered to make the climb

I don't think that I found the tree, the tree found me. Laura and I had a great time, but she is still whining about not seeing blue lake.

Rich, I don't think Laura will ever believe she's seeing Blue Lake even when she actually looking at it.

Nice pics! Looks like a blast. I love playing in the small bowl this time of the year! I saw a couple of you guys heading up North Fork sat morning. We should have headed that way. We ended up going up above Fall Creek toward Dome Peak. We had alot of fun, but I wish we had hit Darland instead.
