On Saturday we met up at the Sno Park around 9am for day of snow wheeling. The plan was to head over Darland and then to Blue Lake. In attendance was Rich and Laura, Curtis, my dad and I. The snow was ok, but not the best for wheeling, just a little too soft.

We made it to the top of Darland in pretty good time. There was still a lot of snow for this time of year. We couldn't ask for better weather.

Outstand....I thought of you guys all day wishing I were there. I figured it would be a kick a$$ day for wheeling and I was right. Snow looks like it was pretty wet and slippery. Looks like tree holes sucked a few of you in too.

Where is the snow level at? I have some friends wanting to camp at tree phones for memorial day and they are worried about getting their motor home up there.

Just a few spots of snow on the road before Tree Phones, the snow level pretty much started right there at Tree Phones. A few trucks were parked there to unload snowmobiles. Another few days of this warm weather and it should be all dry at Tree Phones. The snow still covered 3/4 of the bathroom at Clover Flats.

Good times had by all. I am still trying to convince Laura that there is a Blue Lake. Some day I'll take her there when there is no snow.

It sure looks like it.

So Laura still hasn't seen Blue Lake in it's natural state, huh? Guess you'll just have to call a Blue Lake run once the snow's gone.
