Peak Putters - STAG RUN!!! (Rob's bachelor party) 2012

Postby SPR » Sun May 20, 2012 3:57 pm

Let us get this report rolling as there are a lot of different stories to tell. I'm sure the non-participants are eager to see and hear about what they missed.

Friday afternoon...Rob was a very good sport and happily accepted all of the goofy stuff that he was dealt. The shenanigans started out with a minor bruising of his manhood.

First... Every gag starts with good planning and preparation.
Image

While Rob was distracted by a long wild ride with Kevin in his Razor, the crew went to work.
Image

Image

The custom pink hood was so sexy that Dave just had to pet it a little.
Image

The Booth brothers added finishing touches with a couple of custom stickers
Image

The blue and silver glitter in the paint sparkled almost as much as Rob.
Image

Lee came up with a window sticker to further the bruisning of Rob's manhood.
Image

A whole lot more happend Friday night, but I got scared and retreated to bed at 10PM. Someone please fill in the story for for Friday night.
I don't Text (at least not very well), I eat Blackberrys, and I only Twitter after sex...

I believe it is official... the Stag Run is reborn. And, Battle Shots played via CB... it is a thing, and it ain't going away.

I'll post up what few pics I have and my story from the back of the (slow moving) pack tomorrow.

Good times Tim and congratulations Rob.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Ha, ha! Nobody got pictures of me stuck. And if no one got pictures, I did not fall less than gracefully into a tree-well.

Oh crap! I have pictures. The only pics I took on the run. So in the interest of full disclosure...

You would not believe the sound it made when it hit the tree.
In my defense, I was bored.

Do not worry Lee, I have pictures of the jeep AND you falling down
I will post later after work!
Working on your rig is like a really great date: you start out expecting it to be something simple and straightforward; four hours later you're laying under her, panting and cursing, and things are a lot more complicated than you ever wanted.

It's the winch talking to the Jeep. (That is what the voices in my head told me to say.)

I didn't take all too many pictures, but here are thew few I did take...

Rob was pretty giddy when we were pulling the log back...

You could see the exact tire tracks of everyone else going through the same line, but it collapsed on Dan and was about to his fender.

When I got home, I discovered that my youngest had dumped out about 5 quarts of oil all over the garage floor, and they proceeded to sit and play in it. Evidently the slippery texture was lots of fun.

She was on the phone with her mom when she discovered it... Needless to say I'm pretty sure even the neighbors heard her reaction.

I gotta say Tim, you know how to throw one hell of a bachelor party. The other party bachelor party going on in the other camp was nothing in comparison. I think we have a new drinking game in battleshots. Definitely need to break out the brain bleach for some of the things that went on but I had a great time and I really needed it! I don't have any pictures because I didn't plan on taking any...

Had some of the best wheeling in a while Saturday. I didn't think we were going to make the Darland Loop but we did. I think the pink hood gave me a little luck in getting out of some spots.

I got home and Kathy and the girls laughed. The girls went inside and came out with their own markers and added to the hood. They absolutely loved it. A few minutes later I went back to the Jeep and my oldest was already pulling off the window sticker. She said she didn't understand it. The pink hood will be hung up in any future garage (hopefully shop) I own and maybe brought out for an occasional "Pink Hood" run.

Edit: Thanks for editing my avatar.

Sorry I wasn't there, Rob! Know that we wish you all the best, and hope you enjoy every minute of having Kathy around for the next hundred years or so

I'm missing a 3D Maglite in the color of black that was instrumental in a certain game of Battle Shots. If anyone arrived home with one more than they came with my Jeep and I really miss it. Let me know. Thanks.
