Peak Putters - Camp Schamp 2013 (aka Darland Mt run)

Postby commando14 » Sun Apr 14, 2013 9:55 pm

Post up pics and stories if you have 'em. I had a blast, definitely one of the best Camp Schamp runs ever! We conquered Darland and Blue Lake, and we had some good times around the huge camp fire. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

Nice Don!
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

Some one asked so here are the couple pics I got of my oops. We all made it out ok. My copilot Sarah had a great time and is ready to go again.

Here is a pic of all my latest handy work, new dual cases, driveshafts and went to a single flow master to make it a little quieter so my ears wouldn't be ringing by the end of the day.

If anybody found a set of keys (2 Jeep keys and a house key) at camp, I may know who is looking for it.

If anyone found an extra red folding camping chair around the campfire: that belongs to me.

Also, a weeks medication of Aleve, Nerve Fix, and vitamins has made the sciatic nerve issue disappear. :D

Hah cool, when I checked this thread last it must have been on my phone. Didn't see the nifty bronco pics.

How do you like the dual transfer cases? Seems like might not be as necessary seeing as how you already have an auto. I'd imagine it probably reduces your transmission temps a bunch though.

Love the dual cases!! Used them a handful of times on this last run. Was really nice for more control when trying to keep wheel spin to a minimum on the snow. Not to mention I now have 3 transfer case levers 8)

Great pics! Looks like a lot of fun.

I came through your camp Sunday looking for some Cub Scout parents for the Wildfire Awareness event at the Guard Station.

Me following my bro on the way up. I didn't get a lot of pics, except for a Bronco on its side, and I used Tim's camera for that.

Oh, and my Camp Schamp sticker.
