CC's Juniper Run July 5

Postby OldGreen » Tue Jul 06, 2010 12:03 pm

A few of us slackers that couldn't make Liberty headed out to the dunes on "The morning after".

CC (CJ) and his buds (Bikes)
Roman (white YJ)
TJ Dave
Me mamagreen, and the man child in mom's car (WJ)

We duned for a minute. . .CC's junk got hot. . .some of the nice peoples in the RVs lent him some water. Then we went out and ran the power line to the fence line and all the way back to the parking lot. At that point, we aired up mama's car (thanks Jose) and left the other's there to have more fun.

What happened next? It can't have been without incident. . .CAN'T!!!

BTW. . .it was nice to run trails out there at a little slower speed than I am used to. With AC. And a stereo. I'm getting soft.

Man, I'm an even bigger slacker. Slept through my alarm clock that morning - 2 hours of sleep apparantly wasn't enough lol.

CC's junk boiled out the water we added earlier, so I took a run to the nearest irrigation pond and got some more. We called it a day soon after that.

I gotta say, for as much as he ran that engine extremely low on coolant, I am surprised it still runs!

After the wheelin', CC followed me to my house and we worked on fixing the water leaks. Hopefully we got 'em all!

We need to work on those fuel leaks next...

Thought you were supposed to keep those, for the excitement factor.
