Hover Labor Day

Postby iaccocca » Thu Sep 09, 2010 10:47 am

Chris (Crispy) asked if I would put up the run report for Hover last week, so here it is.
Labor Day Monday we met at Roberto’s on Clearwater. Toby and co-dawgs in his EB, Dave Walters in Big Red, Chris with his newly put back together Toy on a trailer with Nicole and guest, and Lee in his short bus LJ. José was also there, but I think we were just running into him on his usual breakfast break. 8-) We headed out sans José after breakfast getting to Hover around 10:00 AM. Chris unloaded the Toyota and we headed down towards the water and the irrigation run off ditch. Toby checked his suspension flex, got some poser pics, and answered a zillion (literally) questions his children had. Chris’ hub let go almost immediately and he was piloting a three wheel drive vehicle the rest of the day. Going down into the big ditch Dave managed to lift at least one rear tire at least 6â€
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans.

Here's some of the poser pics I took... My goal for the day was simply to check my shock lengths and bumpstop settings. I've got some tweaking to do on the front lower shock mounts, but outside of that it's coming along nicely.

Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...

I thinks Toby's Bronco has the "Love Bug" gene. I see pictures with passengers but no driver :? I hope the Broncoe is a safe driver and likes your kids :D
I don't Text (at least not very well), I eat Blackberrys, and I only Twitter after sex...

Just was messin around out there the other weekend, just curious, I read that the hill is "closed", just curious if it is open again (KGH land) or not? Someone out there told us anything past the fence line (by butt crack, the hill )
