Slab, Sat Feb 5th

Postby commando14 » Sat Feb 05, 2011 9:42 pm

On Saturday Rich and I headed to Slab to do some wheeling with Clay and his group. We arrived at the parking lot at 11am to find over 20 rigs including some Subarus. I towed the Comanche up and Rich cruised in the Lexus. James also showed up in his K5. It was a good half day of wheeling, we found some nice hill climbs and there was plenty of rigs to check out. Some of the hills are a lot steep than they appear in the pictures. The only carnage was a Toyota that laid on it's side a bit, and another 4 door Wrangler that blew a front axle u-joint.

Great Pictures Dave. You are correct, they definitely don't show how steep these hills really are though. Here are a few more to add to the collection.

I wish that I would have made the trip. Coleman has done a lot of good work to his truck since I have seen last. He still carries too much crap in the back. :P

I use to wheel with those guys but ever since I painted my rigg I don't want to get it dirty.
