Went out to Hover on Monday the 30th and had some fun. There was a couple muddy spots from the last days rain. One of the funniest parts of the day was the highschooler that tried to take his 2 wheel drive 60's Ford up in to the hills and go STUCK in some big ruts. Luckily we saw him and I had a trail shovel in the jeep so he started digging out while a guy on a quad when to go get the kids friends. Some digging and pushing got him heading back down the trail in reverse. Everyone laughed at him, but no damage was done to his rig.

Hhahahah thats very funny! people who think they can do stuff like that in 2 dig! Ya those hills are fun to play up in with my truck. My truck has no problem doing them at all. I put in 4x4 low and 1st gear and just glide right up those hills with no slip! Glad you had fun!

Hover On Sunday 2/12/12 - 'Just Cuz' Run

Postby Livin4Today » Fri Feb 10, 2012 8:02 am

Okay, so TJ Tara and I are heading to Hover this coming Sunday 'Just Cuz' we've never been and heard it's fun, and we're all about fun.

That said we realized we have one small dilemma, we only know it's down Finley way... Beyond that we're clueless, other than I'm certain I've fought plenty of fires there over the years.

Anybody care to join us as a tour guide, or maybe someone will share directions and any dos and donts we might need to know... We can always use somebody better with cameras than we are too...

Unless there's a better area to play in and friends to play with... Just sayin'

Let Us Know Your Plans....

Building a capable off roader is easy, building a street legal one that you can wheel and then drive daily is the challenge...

Google "meals rd and hover rd kennewickm wa" and that is the closest intersection. Drive to the end of hover rd and you'll see the area.
