A few of us headed up to Cowiche Mill on Sunday to play in the fresh new snow. There was some wind on top of the ridges, but other than that the weather was nice and sunny and there was plenty of snow! There hadn't been anbody up there since the new snow fell so we broke fresh trail for a long ways which was fun! The snow made for good wheeling, required a bit of speed at times but it was fun. There's probably already more snow up there now than what fell all of last year.
We had 5 rigs total: Andrew and Heather, Don and Kayla, Don's co-worker (sorry can't remember name), my dad, and myself and Kristen.
Only carnage of the day was Don broke a front driveline part way up, with no way to repair on the trail he headed back down with his co-worker. The rest of us continued up the mountain for a ways until the snow got too deep. This was the first run for Andrew after he installed new 4.56 gears in his Cherokee, and they held up just fine!
