In a word, awesome. Almost 600 miles of off-road driving. We gave ourselves 6 days and did the whole thing in 5. This overlanding thing is pretty cool. No doubt I will be doing this again. Learned a lot.
Saw a lot of things you would never think to google. Ice caves and walls in the middle of nowhere. 100+ year old cabins and towns long gone.
Been to some of the most remote places and saw some things I didn’t expect. Like a Ford Edge wheeling, rear hitch carrier and all. Epic
Carson, WA all the way to the Nighthawk border crossing into Canada. What an experience!

Re: Washington Backcountry Discovery Route
Sorry, I meant to get a run report up earlier but I've basically been working since we got home. Like Rob said, it was an amazing trip! If you've ever considered doing it I highly recommend it. You won't regret it. I'll try and get some pictures posted if I can get it figured out.

Yep, I've wheeled one of those, too...
Re: Washington Backcountry Discovery Route
The guy in the Edge was definitely a wheeler. Knew what he was doing.
Owned a built Samurai in the past. He brought stuff we didn’t think of like a pick axe.
