2019 Pick up a Mountain

Postby TJDave » Sun Sep 22, 2019 3:52 pm

Another great event in the books. I think the Peakputters had the best turnout than any other club. Thank you to all who came.

I will post some pics when I get them downloaded.

Please post your pics and stories. I know there are some!

Barb and I arrived at Jim Sprick Park just before noon. We headed straight for the river as planned and started spreading out chairs and a Jeep. Greg and Doug showed up just minutes after and spread out some more Jeeps. Success in securing the river area.

The weather was perfect. Clear skies and mid 70's just after a rain.

The rest of the group went to clean up an elk crap....I mean camp. Somebody fill in the details.
It must of been near the funny rocks.

A large group of vintage campers were staying next door at Elk Ridge. Some pretty neat campers in there.

That's all I got unless I steal some more pictures. It was a great time, except for getting skunked at the raffle.

We hauled out multiple cut up toilets and stove stuff form a messy elk camp between Funny Rocks and TriPod Flats.
