Pick Up A Mountain 2022

Postby Roman » Wed Sep 21, 2022 1:59 am

No fires in the immediate area to shut down festivities.

We finally got to run PUAM!!!

Great turn out of Peak Putters, unfortunately overall turn out was low.

I think I arrived around 6pm Friday evening, much to Scumby's surprise! With just a little unpacking I was ready to socialize (till the sun went down)
Some time in the dark hours Corey and his straight piped Cummins came "tip toeing" into camp next to the Bounder.
Saturday morning started off with a short driver's meeting with the entire group, then we gathered in our corner of camp to decide where to hunt for treasures. Clover Springs was determined to be the spot, and it definitely benefited from some cleaning. Lots of trash was picked going in, and on the way back out. Not a lot of "wheeling" but while short, it didn't have its high points. A nice loose down hill section got the blood going. Coming back to camp we were greeted by a HUGE loader tire they brought in from across the highway.

Saturday evening several Putters volunteers to help serve dinner at the potluck. Frogg greatly appreciated it.

Sunday morning I got to the kitchen at 5:55 and I was LATE, everyone was in there tearing it up!!!
Peggy was blown away how you guys attacked that kitchen. It was an amazing show, and no one that made it to breakfast left hungry. With breakfast knocked out, it was back to camp to start packing. I rolled out around 11am, with a smooth ride back to town with the exception of the Prosser dump station being closed and the line at Columbia Point station circling the lot. An extra trip Monday and things were right as rain.

I don't Text (at least not very well), I eat Blackberrys, and I only Twitter after sex...
