Peak Putters - Annual? No Tires Run 8/31/13

Quick report to confirm it was an official run.....Without tires.
With a later start than hoped, Barb and I arrived at the island a little before 11am. To our surprise, there was nobody on it yet, and the best spot was secured. Plenty of shade trees and a good level area for BBQ-ing.
The phone rang not too long after, and I made the long 5 min. trip to pick up Steve and Dolly at the dock.
On the way back, we saw a sliver on the water with a huge rooster tail zipping out of the Columbia Park Marina. "That has to be Tim!"
Meanwhile, back at the island, Tim's phone rang and they were off to pick up Rob. I think he made better time than I did.
Soon after, Curtis and family showed up on the Sea Doos.
The island was full of boats and people by then, so we just sat back and enjoyed the show.
That's about it. It was a very relaxing day. Thank You to all that showed.
For those that didn't feel like doing anything, you missed out. Because we didn't do anything!
The weather was perfect. We just hung out, BBQ'd burgers & hotdogs, enjoyed some frosty cold beverages, and great company.
