going to break out the dutch ovens tomarrow,time to hone the skills.

got a tritip mabey some green beans with cream of mushroom soup thinkin some quarterd red potatos with a little EVOO and some seasonings some kinda bread and of course a dump cake no dutch oven meal is complete without dessert

if i can find my cord ill take some pics and post them.
of course ill have a fire in the fire pit and a few cold onesto keep lubed,gatta have some chairs to relax in so i can keep the cooking energy up this seems to be a half a day event but holy crap is it good.

i did a tri tip once before in a DO and its better than any other way of cooking it IMO

I cook Elk roasts in a dutch oven pretty often. Unless you have a retard moment (or to much beer), it's hard to reck a roast in those things. Hell I brought one to Iraq with me and would buy lamb roasts off the locals during patrols to bring back and cook up for my team. Had family sending me bread mixes too. My team tended to eat pretty good on or refit days when we didn't go outside the wire. lol
See if I get this imbedding photo thing right. If I do, I think this one was a batch of cornbread in Baghdad
