This years donation helped us get a second and much needed banner to use in our booth and during events. We decided to go to Cascade Sign and Design to have it made, not only because they are fellow wheelers, but they could get and make exactly what we were looking for in the time that we needed to have it for the March for Respect.
We opted for a 2'x10' double sided banner. Having it double sided means that we can pretty much put it anywhere and it can be read. It is the same on both sides. We are going to be putting together an adjustable height framework that will allow us to have it free standing with out having to put poles in the ground. Which is great because our booth is not always in a location that we can do that. It also allows us to either have it at ground level or above the level of the pop up tent we use. We won't have to worry about "hanging" it anywhere.
Final cost on the banner was $195. It ended up being a bit higher than originally quoted due to opting for heavier vinyl with a nice thick hem around the edge which will help it last longer especially since 90% of its use will be out side.
Breakdown on the donations we made towards it are:
Peak Putters $50
Grumpy $10
Amok $20
Moonshiners swap meet collection of $55
So a total of $135 donated for this expense!
