smokin deal

Postby toyman2 » Sun Jul 22, 2007 4:37 pm

so this old timer (90yo) around the corner decided to go to a retirerment home, with his wife.
he ask if i was inrtrested in buying anything from his place,so i ask even the toolsand he said yep.so i go to look at a few things and kinda felt guilty so i ask how mush for everything,he said ill get back to you.
Soooo later that night he calls and tell me how much and after i pick up my jaw i ask if that was enough for him and he said for you this is the price.
all i can say is i bought everthing, mostly all wood tools but lots of others as well.
table saw, nice drill press, router w/table and bits, saws.sanders, dril bits, wrenches, plyers of all kinds etc etc.
this guy has been a do it youselfer for ever, and i got all this for about what a weekind of campin and wheelin cost.

this was a deal of a life time for sure, now i dont know where to put all this .

Cim, that's awsome. I know it's not your gramp's tools, but I love tools with history!
