Prayers or whatever

Postby iaccocca » Fri Jan 21, 2011 3:14 pm

Any of you that are the praying sort or just good people willing to send good thoughts... I'm a Great Uncle now to twins; a little girl and little boy born in November. Chloe, an absolute sweetheart, has to go for heart surgery in Seattle for a hole in her heart and maybe some issue with her lungs. I really don't have many details. Of course the twins’ parents are just kids; that’s how my little brother gets to be a Grand Daddy.
I’ve known babies to have this issue and type of surgery before, and all went well and they are healthy happy people now, but as you can imagine, this is difficult for the family and scary as hell.
So, prayers please, or how ever you share your energy.
Thanks, lee.
Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.
If you want to hear God laugh, tell Him your plans.

We will send a prayer for Chloe.
If she is in Children's Hospital Seattle, speaking from experience with our daughter's surgery, they are the best of the best.

Update and Thanks

Thank you for thoughts and prayers. Chloe's surgery was successful. She did have to stay a day longer in the hospital than planned, because she was having breathing issues, but that has been resolved. She is already brighter, 'pinker', and more active. Her brother better look out now!

Kasyn and Chloe. I was over working on their Grampa's truck and car (my little brother) so they might have my greasy fingerprints on the back of their cute little shirts. Shhh...

Best of luck, we've got them in our thoughts and prayers.
