DIY bedliner

I started pulling out all the carpet from my rig and I am going to attempt to replace it with a roll on bed liner throughout my entire rig. Has anyone done this on their own? If so what product did you use and how did it turn out?

I helped a buddy put a bedliner in his wrangler. I believe he bought the stuff at walmart, but I can't think of the brand name. It worked okay, but after a year it was wearing thin in a few points. Other than that he was happy with it

I got mine done by Line-X as I was too lazy to roll it on myself - but for a DIY job the jeep guys swear by Monstaliner:

I've personally seen the results of some of the cheapo stuff you can get at parts stores - and the results aren't all that great after a while.

I have a suggestion: SEM Chip Guard. I have used this stuff quite a few times and it is really good. Available at any automotive paint supply.

Two cans should be enough to do the whole floor inside if you dont hose it on too thick.

The best way I can describe it is that it is like spray-on ABS glue; even smells like it. It dries hard and can be top-coated if scuffed. Bond is excellent, as long as the surface is properly prepped. At bare minimum, everything should be cleaned thoroughly with wax/grease remover, then acetone, then scuffed with course (brown) scotch-brite until all gloss is gone. Preferably wet-sanded with ~220g, but the scotch brite is bare minimum.
