After commuting 60 miles a day this winter in my jeep, these are some things I have come to appreciate about my favorite ride.
I can tell when i need gas when i can pull mud bay hill without shifting down. { might be a 2.5 thing.}
I can find my earplugs in the dark
I wave at other jeeps when driving the dually.
Maybe you guys have some favorite things about your jeeps?

Orville is an old man....his steering is stiff until I get out of the driveway. There is an exhaust leak that resonates between 2200 and 2300rpm in all gears. I use my phone for a speedometer.
He is also stone reliable and will cruise at whatever speed you would like all day long. Other than his little quirks, he is a great commuter and isn't half bad on the trail.....

My right turn signal doesn't work when it is cold out. 
I don't think it is loud in the cab until I have a passenger and want to have a conversation.
GPS is my speedo.
My Jeep is a better trail Jeep than Jim's. Jim is a better driver than me.

Okay, we're a little crazy to have a Duramax for a daily driver. But if we go off our meds, we might wind up in a Prius.

I love my Jeep. She gets me where I want to go even though I don't take as good a care of her as I should.
Her ride is quite rough, probably due to the new shocks I just bought her. She loves asphalt and hates concrete highways. She nods yes all the way down the road.
My GPS is her speedometer.
Her radio was stolen several years ago, but I don't mind. I couldn't here it driving down the road anyway.
Her seats are torn, but she doesn't complain, and her fuel gauge is faulty so I make sure she gets a fill up at 3/4 empty.
But she's never failed me....she's a study old girl.
I call her a girl because she has taken better care of me than most girls in my life.

My Jeep rattles alot due to the cheap joints in the suspension, vibrates alot due to the rather rigid engine mounts I made (because it would shred the stock ones), and has pretty bad body roll due to the lack of sway bars.
But she's happy to take a beating and scream when I flog her, and when she is just sitting in the driveway she is constantly begging me for more...

I'm not claiming it until I see what happens when Chrysler, finally free of Daimler the Destructor, gets to build Jeeps on its own, and we'll see if they're actually good enough to put Mopar on them. Sad to say, even the Jeep brand got hurt big time by the Germans.
The Mopar forums are quite split on whether the Aussie in charge and Italian at the top are going to let them build "real" Jeeps or not.

When second gear (manual) sounds like you're makin' popcorn.
When you forget you did a quick half-refill after airing down, and can't figure out why on Monday morning she's beset by the death wobbles.
When the only time you immediately check the oil is when she stops leaking
When you think the so-and-so behind you is tailgating, but then remember your rear bumper is only 5 feet back.
When it takes you half an hour just to hit all the grease zerks.
